Guess I better work harder on my blog

So I received comments from some friends I haven't talked to in a long time. From their blogs I was able to find other long lost friends. It was wonderful. What I learned though is that my blog is very, very plain. I need some cute pictures. They definitely keep your interest. Problem is I'm not that great of a photographer and I don't take many pictures because of it. Something new to learn this year. Yes, I'm going to the Scrap Convention with out very many pictures to scrap. I love having the stuff- but don't seem to have the time to actually do anything. All you women who have families, callings, keep your house clean and still find time to develope talents amaze me. Hats off to you. I aspire to be just like you.

In other news:

School is going wonderful! Taylor's teacher is much more organized this year which is making my homeschooling a lot easier. Also Taylor has a year of schooling under his belt and seems to know better what is expected of him. I can give him an assignment and leave the room and he'll actually do it!

I joined a gym and went for the first time this past week. It was great. My kids did well in the play room and I got a good workout. It is so nice to be at a "real" gym. There were so many things to choose from to do. I can fill two hours of my time in town everyday while Taylor is at school. What to do with my time was a major problem last year. I am soo glad to be working out again. I'm never quite as happy as I am after a good workout.

I finished reading "Gone With the Wind" and "Scarlet" finally. I have very mixed feelings about it. I'm not sure I like Scarlet O'Hara, but I'm not sure I don't. I think that is how the authors want you to feel. At the same time I had a hard time putting it down. I always had to know what was going to happen next. If Scarlett was going to get what she wanted-again. I've ordered the vidoes from Netflix just to see how they differ from the books.

Next I start the Twilight series. I know, I know, I should have already read them by now, but I have to take a break between books because I tend to let everything else slide while I read.

I wore the most horrid dress to church today...covered in a large print of various safari animals. My mother in law gave it to me. It was one of her favorites and I almost felt like I had to wear it. It also was the fastest thing to throw on. I got a lot of comments on it. Hopefully they were sincere but I have a hard time believing anyone could like that awful thing. I just felt too much like Ruth. A little too 60s hippy. After a few weeks at the gym, I'll do my own shopping.

Chearsten isn't working anymore so I can spend lots of time with her now that I'll be in town so much. Yahoo!

The best sporting goods store. If you have any atheletic gear needs this is the place to get it! The website is constantly being updated with new stuff so if you don't see what you want look again another day. There is a lot of product but not so many pictures yet. The site is relatively new.

That about sums it up. Have a Great day!
