I was informed yesterday that Taylor's teacher had a cancellation in her 10am class and she can move Taylor and Daniel there if we want to. I spent all summer getting used to the fact that I would have to leave the house before 7 to get Taylor to school on time at 8. The big plus would have been that we would be home at 1 everyday. I can handle getting home at 3 though. That is still 2 hours earlier than last year.
Also, Joey and I bought a membership to Defined Fitness, so I won't be spending 4 hours a day pushing Larry on the swing at the park. Free childcare and a business discount for Sandia helped that decision. I'll be paying 20 less an month for much more of a gym than the one here in Edgewood. I can't wait to start. I haven't been to a gym in almost a year now. I sure can feel it!
Chearsten stopped working last year so now I can spend many of those wasted school time hours at her house. We've tried to hang out over the summer, but something always got in the way. Usually my sick children. Sickness in the house is going on 3 weeks now. Maybe today will be the miraculous day everyone gets well.
We bought Taylor new school supplies. I've always loved the beginning of a new school year. A brand new box of crayons and unused notebooks always gave me a feeling of starting. That excitement lasted all through college (I got my one and only speeding ticket on the first day of TVI after Joey and I got married) and I still get that feeling preparing Taylor.
