RaNell called today and told me she is running a 5K in Manasa, CO in July. I think I might try it with her. Lots of people on MFP have trained with the couch to 5K method. I ran the first schedule tonight. It sounds easy, especially since I've been working out regularly for over a year now, but I thought I was going to die. I started out sprinting and by the time I finished I was hardly moving while "jogging". Joey said he could see me heaving all the way from the back door. 3 times a week? I can handle that. In 9 weeks it'll be AG! All Good!

I am soo excited! Anyone who wants to train with me (and takes the "I swear I won't laugh" oath) is welcome to join me!

  1. Dang girl, you rock!! You are really are serious about this whole being healthy thing. I think it is awesome. I wish you the best. Once you start running and really get into it you'll love it- I promise. I use to HATE running, but I do it everyday {except Sundays, of course} and I feel so good after I've had my run. Lotsa Luck, you can Do it!
