Best Pumpkin Bread Ever

Yesterday I got a lot of flack for not posting enough, so here is a short and SWEET one.

Pumpkin Bread

1 1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp Cloves
1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Blend oil and sugar until crumbly. Add all other wet ingredients. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix into wet ingredients. Pour into well greased loaf pans. Bake @ 325 for 1 1/2 hours.

As far as the rest of life is concerned things are going well- for us at least. I am more anxious for school to be out that Taylor is. We have lots of exciting things in the works for summertime. I'm not a very patient person and I'm always ready to move on to the next thing.

What did everyone think about Conference? The one thing that always strikes me is how glad I am that we have "lay" leadership. No one feels better than anyone else and no one is above telling a good joke. Those are real men and women up there on the stand. Just like you and me.

Last minute we invited friends over to watch conference with us. I forgot how much I enjoy having company! It was a little crazy with so many people crammed into my little house, especially at meal time. It reminded me of the gatherings we'd have at mom and dad's house before they left (sniff, sniff). Joey and I just keep an open door policy. Everyone is welcome to come and go as they please. If we don't invite you over it isn't cause we don't want you here. We just figure you'll just stop by when ever you want.
